At ROAR Logistics, our mission goes beyond delivering logistics solutions. We believe in giving back and making a difference in the communities where we live and work. Helping others is a core value at ROAR, and our associates across the country show that initiative every year through service, donations, volunteer work, and more.
With locations across the United States, our teams are engaged in community support nationwide. Here are just a few examples from three of our offices that bring this mission to life:
Houston Office
Our Houston team is deeply involved in their community.
- Manager Aubrey serves as Vice President of the Transportation Club of Houston, a nonprofit that recently awarded $100,000 in scholarships to students studying logistics and supply chain.
- She also chairs the Alzheimer’s Association in Houston, where ROAR supports fundraising and sponsors the water station at events.
- Every October, Houston associates “bring on the pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness. Last year, funds were raised for the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge, which provides free housing for patients receiving treatment.
Buffalo Office
Our Buffalo office has been busy supporting local families and organizations.
- Earlier this year, associates held a food drive for FeedMore WNY, collecting food and peanut butter donations.
- ROAR sponsored Buffalo’s Most Amazing Race with the Salvation Army, along with a school supplies drive to help kids start the year prepared.
- We continue to support Seneca Street CDC’s Girls on the Run program, helping young girls build confidence and stay active.
- Around the holidays, Buffalo associates sponsor a family through Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center with a Giving Tree full of gift requests. ROAR adds household items and grocery cards, while our accounting team wraps and delivers everything.
- Associates also take part in walks and fundraisers for causes such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk and Breast Cancer Awareness.
Arizona Office
In Phoenix, our associates joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising funds and awareness to support research and families impacted by the disease.
Companywide Support
Our giving does not stop at the local level. When an associate’s family in Atlanta needed help, associates across all ROAR offices came together with donations to support them. That kind of teamwork and generosity shows who we are.
At ROAR, we are proud of the way our associates step up to help others. From food drives to walks for a cure, we know that when we give back, we build stronger communities. And when our communities thrive, so do we.
