Robert E Rich III, CEO & Founder, ROAR Logistics, Inc.

At ROAR Logistics, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, streamlined service to our clients every single day. But the strength behind that promise doesn’t come from SOPs alone – it comes from our people. And at ROAR, our people are family.

Most weeks, we spend more time with our coworkers than we do with our own families at home. That’s why we make it a priority to treat our associates like one big family. We work hard together, we laugh together, and we just have fun together. The culture here is genuine, built on respect, support, and a shared belief in the work we do.

There’s a saying I stand by: Culture eats strategy for breakfast. You can have the best plans, the best systems, and the best goals, but without the right people and the right culture behind them, none of it sticks. Our culture is what drives ROAR forward.

That family mindset extends across all our locations. At our Phoenix office, Jevon shared, “At ROAR Logistics, the company culture truly feels like a family. Whether I’m facing challenges at work or going through something difficult in my personal life, I know I can be open and supported. My team always shows up with a listening ear, encouragement, or even just a simple check-in. That kind of support makes a big difference; it builds trust and reminds me that I’m part of something bigger than just a job. It’s not just about moving freight; it’s about moving through life together.”

Krista, also from our Phoenix team, added, “We truly are a family away from home. We celebrate the ups, downs and in between together. We support and guide each other when needed. Before ROAR I had not worked for a company that truly cared for their associates, no matter the circumstance. At ROAR we are more than just a number or an ‘associate’, we are a member of an extended family. It makes the day go much better when you have the support you need when you need it.”

Being part of the ROAR family also means showing up when it matters most, not just professionally but personally. When someone on the team is facing a challenge, our associates are quick to step up and help, without being asked. Whether it’s a work issue or something more personal, the selflessness we see from our team time and time again is nothing short of inspiring.

Last April, one of our associates shared some heartbreaking news. Her granddaughter’s life was in jeopardy before she was even born. Her daughter-in-law needed an urgent, life-saving surgery. In true ROAR fashion, the team came together immediately, offering donations, prayers, and unwavering support. Thanks to that collective effort, her granddaughter was born healthy and strong, and was able to go home like any other baby. That moment reminded all of us just how powerful our culture really is.

Of course, it’s not always serious. Over the summer, our Buffalo office has been making time to connect in lighter ways, both during the workday and after hours. From food truck lunches to hot dog cookouts, we know how to enjoy each other’s company. Sharing meals and laughs helps us stay connected, grounded, and proud of the team we’ve built.

We had a great time at the Buffalo Bisons game on Sunday, June 29 for a ROAR-branded baseball event. We took over the party deck, and associates brought their families out for an afternoon filled with hot dogs, sunshine, and quality time together.

One of the highlights was Joey from our Buffalo office winning a random drawing to throw out the first pitch. He handled it like a pro. We’re not saying the Bisons are scouting him, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they called.

Events like this remind us how meaningful it is when our work family and home life come together. It’s something we value and look forward to every year.

At ROAR Logistics, culture isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something we live every day. It drives how we treat each other and how we deliver for our clients. Our associates are the heart of our company, and together, they make ROAR more than a workplace. They make it a family.
